About me
I have worked in conservation for 45 years, in both the Government and NGO sectors. My passion is for evidence-led decisions that contribute to nature’s recovery. I have led programmes on Protected Areas, species conservation and I led the British Trust for Ornithology (BTO). As CCI came into being, I became its inaugural Chair of Council. I now work on major donor development in the Executive Director’s office. I am a birder, visiting over 50 countries in search of birds, with my data contributing to online BirdTrack (in UK) and eBird worldwide. I am a sculler.
