About me
Growing up around Epping Forest, large, nature-rich landscapes were part of Bev’s ecological DNA. Following a grounding at Nature Conservancy Council and English Nature, his role with Norfolk Wildlife Trust sparked a passion for evidence-based nature conservation. In Natural England, Bev helped lay the foundation of landscape scale conservation in Breckland, working alongside Forestry England and UEA on a transformational biodiversity audit, pioneering change to delivery mechanisms, for better nature outcomes. At JNCC, Bev led the programme to re-shape the post-Brexit landscape for international and UK engagement. Now with Forestry England, he gets to play at a truly landscape scale.
