About me
I am researcher and lecturer in conservation science. My research interests focus on the multifaceted relationships between people and nature, with particular attention to issues of environmental and social justice in nature conservation, human-nature interactions, and the socio-cultural valuation of landscapes. Recently, I completed projects involving the mapping of wilderness in the European Alps, the analysis of public representations of wilderness, and the study of people’s attitudes towards rewilding. Ongoing research focuses on the role of people in rewilding across different European rewilding projects as well as the potential and challenges of 'urban rewilding'.
