About me
Katherine is a Rewilding Lawyer at the Lifescape Project. Katherine’s work focuses on UK rewilding law, including addressing legal barriers to rewilding with large herbivores and using legal mechanisms including conservation covenants to secure land for rewilding long-term. Katherine previously worked on Lifescape’s Forest Litigation Collaborative and lynx reintroduction feasibility projects. Katherine was previously an associate at a boutique litigation firm, specialising in commercial and tax litigation. Katherine has also completed a master’s degree in Biodiversity, Conservation and Management, including writing a research dissertation exploring the impacts of different funding sources and income streams for rewilding projects on rewilding practice.
