About me
Ted Theisinger is a recent graduate of the University of St. Andrews, where he completed an MLitt in Environmental History. Prior to this he received a BA in History at UCL. His specialism lies in North American indigenous environmental histories: with research focussed on the change in ecological relations indigenous communities experienced in the late early modern period through the introduction of new technologies and incentive structures. His interests in rewilding and land governance are future-oriented, emphasising how the solutions we use to solve today’s problems may exacerbate tomorrow’s — and how systemic change that would prevent this can be achieved.
